How to Renew a Student Passport in India

If your current passport expire in less than one year, you will need to apply for a new one. Passports are typically valid for 10 years from the date of issue, but for minors (under 18); the validity period is 5 years. To apply for a new passport, you can follow the steps given below:

• Register or login by filling in the credentials.
•  Select the option “Apply for Fresh” Passport.
• Complete the form correctly and schedule the appointment. 
• Pay the required fees online and get the print. 
• Visit the passport office on the day of appointment with the required documents.
